Brunel is built team-first. Unlike individual AI tools where every conversation is siloed to one person, Brunel’s workspaces are shared by design — every project, session, and plan is visible to the team in real time.

How Shared Workspaces Work

Every member of an organization works inside the same workspace. When anyone creates a project, starts a session, or updates a session’s phase, every other member sees it immediately — no syncing, no exports, no “send me the link.” This means:
  • Engineering managers have full visibility into what’s being planned and where each task stands, without asking for status updates
  • Senior developers can build plans that the whole team can reference, reuse, and build on
  • New team members can open any past session and read the full planning history — the reasoning, context, and decisions are all there

The Organization Hierarchy

Organization
└── Projects
    └── Sessions
        ├── Messages (full history)
        └── Context Files
Everything flows from the organization down. Members, billing, and settings are managed at the organization level. Projects and sessions inherit visibility from the org, scoped by each member’s role.

Real-Time Collaboration

All activity in Brunel is cloud-synced in real time:
  • Session status changes are reflected immediately across all members
  • New sessions and projects appear in everyone’s sidebar instantly
  • The Dashboard updates live as work moves through the lifecycle phases
There’s no need to refresh or manually sync — the workspace always reflects the current state of your team’s planning work.
